Frequently asked questions
What does FeedCentral actually do?
FeedCentral ingests articles from configured news providers, deduplicates them across sources, and serves a normalized feed through a REST API and a WordPress plugin — so you don't have to integrate with each provider yourself.
Is the feed updated in real time?
Ingestion runs on a scheduled basis rather than continuously. Update cadence depends on your plan and configuration — see the API docs for the specifics of how freshness works for your integration.
What's included in the Free plan?
Free gives you access to the core deduplicated news feed with attribution preserved, at a limited daily request quota. It does not include AI-rewritten article text or localized images — see the Pricing page for the current plan comparison.
Can I use FeedCentral with WordPress?
Yes — FeedCentral is designed to serve a WordPress site via its API, in addition to being usable directly by any developer over REST.
How is article attribution handled?
Original source attribution is preserved on every article served through the feed, consistent with each source's own attribution requirements.
How do I get API access?
Create a free account, then issue an API credential from your dashboard. See the Quickstart in the API docs for a step-by-step walkthrough.
